Open Competition: "Red Alert"

"We’re re-visiting our local roots for our historic exhibition in 2012,  we’ll be showing some historic quilts with Turkey Red fabrics in them. For your own take on the theme, be inspired by the history, the fabric or just the colour – the choice is yours"

Scottish Competition: "Singing the Blues"

Please note this competition is only open to quilters living in Scotland.

"Take your ideas from traditional Scottish airs.  Take your blues from the blues of water, sky and flora.  Do blues make you happy or sad?  Whatever your inspiration tell us through your quilt."

Calling all men!: "Mission Impossible"

"Calling all men!  Your mission should you chose to accept it – is to make a quilt for  2012 LLQS.  This exhibition is for quilts made by men.  With awards for first time makers and those with experience."

Q in the Park theme: "Greenfingers"

" – not a competition but a challenge – 2012 theme is “Greenfingers”.  These are fast and fun quilts or not quite quilts that are hung in the trees Loch Lomond side. Rise to the challenge of this unique open air exhibition in the woods beside the loch! Inspiration day coming in Autumn 2011 – watch this website"
