Open Competition: "Chain Reaction"
Chain Reaction Rules of Entry
"Maybe you can hear “Working on a Chain Gang…”; or perhaps Diana Ross singing. Are you thinking chain piecing or chain of command, or do you see Irish chain……daisy chain…or even bike chain. Just let your imagination guide you. It is not a quiz; there isn’t a wrong answer just some wonderful quilts waiting to be made. Looking forward to seeing yours. Scottish Competition: "Raw Spirit"
Raw Spirit Rules of Entry . Please note this competition is only open to quilters living in Scotland.
"Mix the raw spirit shown on the rugby field, the cycling track or the football pitch, with the raw spirit of Scottish explorers and inventors with the makings, colour and taste of the national drink. Then maybe add in some raw edges and wild embellishment but definitely add some of your own raw talent, stir well, let it all simmer for a few months… " For more information on the entry theme please see rules of entry above.
Group Competition: "Opposites Attract"
Opposites Attract Rules of Entry .
"Hot/cold, soft/hard, dark/light, little/large, curved/straight…….we’re running out of opposites but we’re sure that you won’t. Whether you are a group of two or twenty why not have fun coming up with your own interpretation?" For more information on the entry theme please see rules of entry above.
